At the Family Karate Center, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and friendly environment where students can become highly skilled in karate and self-defense. Our value-priced karate school serves students by not only teaching physical martial art skills but also teaching self-esteem and life skills. We want our students to be champions in life! The focus of this program is to provide all the students with the highest quality martial arts instruction available, in a safe and positive learning environment that people of all ages can enjoy.
The Family Karate Center is a multi-generational facility, teaching students ranging from 3-71 years of age. The Family Karate Center helps students, with the excellent student instructor ratio and the state of the art training facility, reach their individual goals both physically and mentally.
The Family Karate Center offers a wide variety of classes from three years old up, as well as small group seminars focusing on both women’s personal protection and Bully Prevention.
Our Location We are easily located at 577 River Road in a newly remodeled 5300 square foot building, parking and the entrance is on the backside of the building.

A person's journey to their black belt is a very individual journey. In a program designed specifically for people with developmental delays, the black belt can take additional years to reach. We focus on the goals at hand, and rank accordingly,
While the social skills taught during the group classes are critical to the program, we cannot offer the 'group only' classes to the general public. The lessons learned during the one-on-one private lessons are extended to the group classes.
Yes! it is encouraged to add a family member or caregiver to the classes. This works as reinforcement and bonding for both individuals. In some cases, a student will have a friend that would like to join, we offer discounted schedules for sharing the one-on-one lessons,
